Beaten At Your Own Game

Dodging stares
From accusing faces
By the eyes of a wounded child
A tortured soul
Of misdirection
Sentenced with no fair trial
Lifeless dreams
Swim aimlessly
Despairing mental waves of fate
Make her way
Through her innocent mind
Driven by a rudder of hate
Candy coated lies
Seduce her taste
Deadly poison disguised as trust
But the deceitful suspicion
Finally shows
Upon sugarplum sweetened lust
Fateful, venomous, consuming lust
Yet it is unseen by the naked eye
Oblivious to the point
Of succumbing now
Bowing down to the wicked lies
The lies disguised as innocent care
Though kindness buys nothing
That our hearts will not share
My heart wouldn't share
And all became so evidently clear
All became focused
On what was all here
Infront of me, the entire time
Right under my nose
But all this time, I was blind
By the obvious deceit
That made me decline
To the trick of the fool
Who thought I'd believe
Yet I figured it out
And through the lies I perceived
Now tell me , how does it feel
When you are beaten
At your own game?
You screwed up loser
Of a ten minute fame
You never thought
I'd make the call
When I've discovered you're nothing
Nothing at all...
