Broken Memories

Can I be your memory?
You’ll never realize you were more than that to me
Because I can’t wear my emotions for you to see
Because I’ve been broken before

Can we have another night in heaven?
We’re falling apart and this I’m letting
You’re confused, there is a part you’re not getting
I’ve been broken too many times before

Can I have just one more kiss?
I hate to leave everything like this
But I can’t think of the things I will miss
Because it’s hurts too much to be broken

Can you not see it in my eyes?
All the hurt and pain and lies
Wearing a smile as my heart cries
Because I’m broken on the inside

Can I be just another memory?
You will never realize how much more you were to me
Because these are emotions I never let you see
Because I’m too scared to be broken again
