I’ve waited here, so long, for you,
Outside, in the cold, where my lips turn blue.
Today has marked forever and a day
Our life, together, has gone a new way
18 months is such a long time
As we save up every dime
Hoping, maybe, life will go fast
Racing ahead to leave our past.
Friends forever, this time for sure.
