The Ceiling Walkers

Let’s tip the world over and walk around on the ceiling
There’s so much empty space up there, when you leave the world behind.
We could sit up on rooftops all night to the dawn
And watch the world move upside down.
They’ll always tell you that the Earth is round
So how do we know if we’re backwards, or upside down?
It doesn’t matter, if you like to walk on ceilings
And spin around in chandeliers, from year to year.
We’d live on ceiling space and dreams and wouldn’t care
Or dare to think of those still standing on the ground
Just as no one would notice us way up there in the air,
‘Cause they’re too busy looking down.
