Like a child, I sit on his knee
As he quietly comforts me.
He says that he loves me, he says that he cares.
He says he knows I need him, so he’ll always be there.
He says all these things, and I know he means them;
And so, I will always and completely trust him.
Do you trust him? I know I do!
If you don’t, then it’s time you do, too.
For, you see, he loves you, and truly cares.
And no matter what, he’ll always be there.
So come, come sit on his knee.
We’re children of God, you and me!
