She was so pretty and kind.
A good student that always said a prayer.
But she holds in the back of her mind
A life of pain and despair .

She wants to be thinner
Deciding it will make her stunning
She starts skipping more then just dinner.
She works out like crazy, then goes running

Her friends start to worry she not alright
They say she’s too skinny and getting too weak
She argued she was fine, but they knew she was lien that night
Going to bed that night, down her face where tear streaks.

Her whole world is crashing around her.
Everything she worked for, now just a memory.
She is so numb, everything is a blur.
Her best friends, now seem like worst enemy

Falling to her knees she start to cry.
She cant take it much more.
The only thing she wants now is to die.
Inside her, she’s fighting a war.

She was so pretty and kind.
A good student that always said a prayer.
But she holds in the back of her mind
A life of pain and despair .
