Seek To Save

To the dust we shall return
Where many burn
For sins they cannot pay
Now they spend all day
A place of everlasting fear
Unknowing of whom or what is near
Unpleasant smells and bloodcurdling screams
Making ones earthly nightmares, dreams
A Redeemer they need, but one they have not
For what length they have lived, they have not sought
A Lamb led to death
“Father forgive them,” He spoke with His last breath
God’s power was shown and told in a Book
Where all need to look
A powerful, supernatural being
Yet is their excuse, “How can one believe without seeing”
Until the days that we have not yet met
We should tell others about Christ and do not fret
He who takes the body away
We shall not stray
A better place we will be
Where our spirit will be set free
Fear to Him who can take the soul
Our life is as black as coal
But with all the errors that we have not overcome
The errors we have conquered are some
God’s wrath and peace most have seen
Our faith can be a small bean
Miracles and powerful works He gave
So God’s people would seek to save
