I love you
I can’t stop thinking of you
I met you seven years ago
And now I’m afraid to let you go

“Ask and you shall receive”
Isn’t that what every Christian believes
Well, I’ve asked… So why’s the answer always “No”
When your love all I want to know

All day long I think about you
All night long I dream about you
All I really want is that one night
After those vows are taken and I stand before you in all white

You don’t even know my name
OR care how far I came
Just to see you
And imagine being with you

But that question still remains

7 years apart
7 years with a hidden love
Is 7 years to much?
