Behind A Wall

You always tell me to be myself
You always say you care
What if I'm scared to be myself
Because I know everyone will stare.

You think I have things goin for me
Oh, Gosh, You have no clue
My life is hell, that's why hide
To get get away from you

You only see the outside,
The surface hides it all
For no one can see the true, real me
I've hidden it behind a wall

A wall, for say, you helped me build.
With your bullshit and your lies.
behind that wall, there lies a girl.
Who can do nothing but cry.

She cannot hide her ugliness
She can't escape her fears.
She's tried so hard, with out success
She's been alone for years.

She's just looking for a friend
someone to help her deal.
There's no one out there that can help her
At least that's how she feels.

Coming out from behind that wall,
You look into my eyes.
You see the face of a sweet young girl.
And for once you see me cry.
