its how you always call me and meet me anywhere,
its little things like that which show me you really care.
you always make me smile, even when i wear a frown,
and after the shit that we went through, im surprised you're still
around.
if you're looking for who to blame, its all my parents' fault,
cause they are the ones who are putting 'you and me' to a halt.
they complain that you're not in school and that you're too old,
they think they're doing good for me, but they're turning my heart
cold.
when i finally found something that seems for a while could be true,
of course with my luck, they gotta have a problem with you.
once in their set way, they wont let go of their grudge,
they dont know how to meet someone before the judge.
i don't see the way that i can look you in the eyes,
and then turn away forever, saying a final goodbye.
and if you care enough after this to still fight for me,
then i'll know you're truly special and that it was meant to be
