What She Never Wanted To Be

She sits in her room all alone
This is where her life would end
She had called him to say her good bye
The one person who had always who cared
She had hung up on him when he started to ask questions
She got out her razor and sat still
The phone rang but she did not answer
She knew it would be him worried
She closed her eyes and began praying
Hoping and wishing that it would work
She opened her eye and looked at her wrist
As she stared at the scars not a tear left her eye
Glad that the pain inside would end
She grabbed her razor and dragged it down her arm
It was deep and blood was leaving her fast
A cold feeling took over her body
Some one grabbed her and called her name
She fought back with all the might she had left
But she was too weak to fight them off
And to far gone to recognize that it was him
He gabbed a sheet and put pressure on her arm
He was not about to let her die
He had rushed over when she hadn’t answered the phone
When he got the blood to slow down he called 911
“Why did she do this?” he started to wonder
“Why didn’t she come to me?”
Soon the paramedics got there
And they rushed her to the hospital
Saying how she was barely alive
A few hours later she awaken from her sleep
To find herself surrounded by me and family
TO weak to talk she closes her eyes
She hears his voice whispering in her ear
Saying “It’ll be OK” and “I love you”
He bends down and gently kisses her head
The cold feeling starts to melt into to warmth
For the first time in a long time she feels loved
If he had came 10 minutes later it would’ve been to late
She moaned as she becomes aware of the pain
She opens her eyes and looks at her wrapped up arm
This is what she never wanted to be
