Peaceful Beauty Obsession

Kiss me dear fellow,
your pale skin drained of colors blue, green, and yellow,
your body still warm from peaceful sleep,
your beauty before me makes me weep.

your soft breath upon my back,
free from harm, free from attack,
i bend over your lovely face,
a tear from my eye, an outline has begun to trace.

your beauty defies me, i shouldn't be here,
not next to you, i'm sorry about my tear,
you look so peaceful in your heavenly sleep,
i close my eyes quick and turn before i weep.

I should leave you alone,
you look so much better on your own,
I place just one dear kiss on thy forehead,
thoughts in my head make me want to leave this bed.

But i don't go, I don't even move, not even the slightest,
I want to hold you forever, my grip the tightest,
But i don't dare touch you, you might awake,
you look so breathtaking, my heart begins to break.

I wish I could be good enough for you,
oh no, a flutter of your eye lid, i see a hint of blue,
I should run, you shouldn't see me, oh no,
You see me move, grab my arm, and say,"Don't go..."
