I love poems as it allows me
It allows me to be free
I feel like I'm a bird with wings
When I write a poem I don't feel any stings
Poems are great for a pastime
But you get addicted and amused by the rhymes
It brings out the talent I never knew I had
Creating sonnets too, happy and sad

I love poems as they enhance my mind,
Make me kind, brave and bold
People don't realise the benefit
You get from writing poems, it pushes you forward from behind
Nobody has ever told
Poems are good for the body and soul. My heart has been lit.
