More Powerful Than Death

As I lay here wanting to die,
I feel this grief; but cannot cry.
Such dispair my heart has felt.
Shrink inside myself;my soul to melt.
My woes have slowly transformed to death;
I ache and die with every breath.
Physical body.....my soul's sore.
One more granite block to score.
Birth to death....pronounce my fate;
engrave this into an open slate.
This majestic light i've waited to see...
We never parted at your death...
you only held the door for me.
