Afloat I am at Sea

Afloat I am at sea
I知 the only one
There are waves and storms about me
But the light still shines from the sun.

Terrible hunger, there is nothing to eat
No sign of land around
No one with open hands to greet
Nothing have I found.

I知 tossed about and thrown around
A little boat I知 in
It still stays sound
I知 safe from the many circling fin.

The darkness spills about me
The air around is cold
But I believe in the One who値l set me free
And to Him I am sold.

I pray each day for the other boats
The people inside
Around they float
Just along for the ride.

One day I値l find the land that has been promised to me
I値l walk and talk with all
Who road the violent sea
And the One who to all I owe, in His loving arms I値l fall.
