would you rather have a friend
and watch them suffer the pain you know they feel
or would you risk loosing that friend
and end their pain just to see them smile again
not a smile masking loneliness
but a smile that lets you know everythings alright
i know i'd risk it all because thats what friends do
they're not afraid to give all they have for you
its not so easy being on the other side
with secrets and lies you want noone to find
its a scary thing telling someone how you feel
what if they get scared and don't know how to deal
they might tell someone what you're feeling inside
tell them of the secrets you desperatly try to hide
its okay if you want to leave, you got your hand on the door
