the black rose touches my lips,
as my tears fall onto your grave,

so many have fallen,
and I am amongst them,

i can bleed my life away,
but I can’t feel a pulse,

you talk of honor and respect,
and have lived a coward’s life,

death has no place in my heart,
for life is a distant obsession,

you are so superior in comparison,
but no man can ever be God,

what do you feel?
what do you hate?

my fear has killed innocence,
and my innocence has killed the fear,

technology is an illusion,
and justice is worse,

flesh is just paper,
and emotion is the fire,

one day I will die,
but I’ll bring you with me.
