Best Friend

My babygurl who looks out for me, and
Makes sure that I'm behaving myself.
If you weren’t in my life I would most likely be,
Failing all my classes, or be dead.
And plus who would edit my poems?
Even though I'm supposed to be the mother,
Its like you’re the mother and I'm the child.
You’re always there for me.
Sometimes I feel like you do so much for me,
And I don’t even think I can make it up.
What ever I do good or bad you stood by me.
When I smoked pot, drank alcohol, suicide attempts, cutting,
And the guys I've dated, you stood by me.
Thank you so much, my favorite daughter.
