Mute

Silence and nothings been said
Started once I was out of bed.
Quietness, nothing is heard;
Only the chirping of a bird.
Nothing that I need to say
I’ll get by day by day.
Just not speak, not very hard.
I won’t be fixed by a hallmark card.
Silence is where I want to be.
Let it go and let me be.
