There are times i wish to tell you
of the hurt you have caused
and the tears i have cried
of the sadness deep within my heart
but i could never do that
never see the look,
the pain in your eyes
i can never tell you when you hurt me
for i know it hurts you
to know that youve hurt me too.
The hurtful things you say
i know you mean none of it
so i let it go,
try to keep myself calm
tell myself you dont mean it
but i cant keep the hurt out
cant hide the pain from myself
so i hide it from you
because i can never tell you
of the sadness deep within my heart
so i hide the pain and the hurt you cause
so i dont have to see the pain in your eyes
