I say I don’t love you
But quite frankly it’s not true
But I can’t tell you
You will hurt me more and more
And right now I love how you just say hey in that cute friendly sort of way
But I want us to be more
More than just friends
But to you that’s unheard of
To you we can be barely friends
So now I am keeping my love tucked in deep down inside of me
And telling you that I like one of your friends
But if you were to hear me say it to your face
You would that my voice will not be telling you that it’s not true
Because it never was and never will
Because boy I will love you forever
And that’s me speaking the truth
