Daily Routine

Hide your sad smile
And your watery eyes
Open your ears
And suffocate your cries.
There is no harm here
Not even a bit.
No yelling or screaming,
No one to hit.
Wipe the eyeliner off
And wash off your face
Walk out a new person
Old memories erased.
Walk into lunch
Looking just okay
Make no eye contact
There’s nothing to say
As always.
