I couldn’t tell you her story
The secrets she keeps locked in her soul
She dies inside as she watches her friends drown in their glory
Now only left with pools of tears she continuously cries

She drifts through the streets in the night
Looking for a reason, and reason to live
With only a prayer, in her head she’ll recite
Searching for an answer why she should forgive

Too much pain she’s had to endure
Too many opportunities have slipped away
It’s a shame, that’s what people know her for
But they don’t understand why she goes astray

She’s getting no where, going nowhere
Can’t handle this confusion
No longer can she feel the breeze through her hair
Content she finds, always ends to be an illusion

She only hopes they can hear her
Because she remembers it clearly
Pending for that miracle to occur
It never will, so she signs this good-bye letter with sincerely, a forgotten
soul
