There’s no one here to pull me out
Iv fallen too far down this time
The world is deaf to my fading shouts

So many times I’ve reached out my hand
It’s been left there to freeze
The warmth slips through my hand
Just as the mist escapes the seas

The deadly breeze sends chills down my spine
I sit, curled, my knees pressed against me
Wondering, as the cold becomes overwhelming
Why the comfort of your arms is not around mine

It started with a crack
Some would think could quickly mend
Time has past and time has stopped
The crack is now a gaping hole
I can no longer hide and pretend

I ask you what I’ve done
To make you block me out
The miles you have made me run
Iv made it far enough only to say...I’m beyond doubt
