Sitting here on the floor
Defenses up
But when you come around
You have those special blue eyes
The dark kind...to make me feel naked
Not physically but emotionally
So it comes to when your around
I get this feeling
That im not alone in the world
And that someone actually cares
Now when i stare in the mirror
I see your face behind me
I get this emotion
Flowing through my veins
That no matter what i do
You'll be here with me
And you'll always protect me
But yesterday you came over
I smiled and kissed you on the cheek
You said you had bad news
That you met this other girl
And you wanted to leave me
The sparkle left your eye
That special feeling gone
So now im left alone to sulk
Laying naked on the floor
