we were all alone one day
just my friend and I
she had a little headache
and her foreheads getting high
were sitting in her room
talking about her life
she didnt like it much
it became a sudden strife
I left her house hours later
telling her to take no pills
I should have never left
swallowing too many kills
Everything got dizzy
and nothing felt quite right
she lay down for a while not knowing it might be her final night
her mother came home a while after
yelling for dinner she never came
she was getting worried
and thought she was to blame
she opened up her door
thinking shes asleep
yelling screaming didnt work
she walked over to the bed
and gave her arm a jerk
she didnt wake that night
lying in the hospital bed
tears were everywhere
everyone saying I think shes dead
once I heard the news
I rushed to the place she stayed
i cried and cried and then some more
she was still on the cot she laid
I didnt know what to do
my heart began to cave
her eyes had blinked her head had moved
I knew that she was saved
She looked at me with her big green eyes
only Two Pills per person
the label said
I wish I hadnt tried.
