I wish I were a pink tutu
worn by all those so dreadfully beautiful
I bring myself to this
standing in the mirror
pretending to swarm around your body
I am a pink tutu
the tutu in me will shine
the transparent pinkness
that rightfully mine
pink tutu
please catch me
in the spotlight dancing
this tutu is relished in my closet
for another day will come
that I lose myself
in the pink tutu phase
but I know it will always be there
to refresh my memories
on how I don't want to hide in the darkness
like that pink tutu did
