The lights flash on, the crowd booms,
For the next 7 minutes the spotlight is on us,
can't be nervous, this is what we do,
made to entertain, and to love what we are,
the song starts, and we perform for the crowd,
not just for the crowd, but for ourselves,
they cheer us on, but thats not what drives us,
only the rhythm can keep us alive,
we sweat, we pant, we fatigue,
cant stop now, its not done,
when the song is over, thats not the end,
its in our soul and in our blood,
to play through the night, never stopping,
we are the Band...
