What happend to the love the love between us?
We should have been able to get through every fuss
But this time went way to far
This time I may be left with a scar
I can no longer blame my problems on life
I can also no longer cut myself with a knife
You have me really confused about what to think
My life was on its very last brink
Until I found someone who does understand
You gave me help, a lending hand
But now you tell me the rest is left for me
I look at the past and what do I see?
I see a helpless girl, with many hard times
Drinking whatever and smokin some dimes
But I look into the future and I am happy
My life is turning out better than crappy
Because you gave me the love and the hope
Do I see a sad women? Nope.
I see myself happily with you
Can this dream be true?
Maybe it can, hopefully it will
That would be a huge thrill
If we can somehow work this out,
I know it doesn't help to sit and pout
But soon if you want, we can be back together
And hopefully last a long time if not forever
