Angles like you
Usually fall from a pair of sad eyes as a tear
But you fell from the heven's clowds too near
And my face was lifted up to the sky
not bent to the ground and without a tear in my eye
Rather than sprouted from saddness
You're the epidmey of love
A smile after the tears
Simple laughter after angry, sad years
An angel from up above
We're not meant to drive away love when it's found
We aren't suppose to shoot angels down to the ground
But sometimes we forget
And push away what we need most of all
Somtimes we forget
And send our guardian angles away
So if we stumble, we're sure to fall
I'm not sure what our reasons are
For wishing on a star
And just as soon as we've got what we dreamed
We decide we don't need it as much as it seemed
It's really beyond me
Why mortals act so childish and concerned with welth
And beleive me when I say I wish I knew
Because then I could better understand myself
I know I love you and your my angel fallen from the sky
But somtimes life can catch mortals
And tangel them up so much that they cry
And as even angles know
Tears blurr eyesight's vision
And so, blindly, we can easily make the wrong disision
I know I did
And I wish I could take it back somway
And I pray everynight that, even with all my faults
You'll still love me just as much the next day
Because truth be told
There isn't anyone on earth quite like you
And even as an angel, watching me struggle to do what's right
I hope that you can forgive me
If I look like I try to fight
because when my life catches me
And tangles me up in my own thought
I forget what's really important to me
And I do exactly opposite of what I ought
But never forget that I truely love you
And always will
And it's you I wished for
Watching a star shoot across the sky from my window cill
So really, no matter what I may do, or what I might say
I'll love you even more
With each and every single passing day
