I wanted to write your name somewhere
So I thought of a place it might stay
I wrote it in the sand
But it quickly washed away

So I wrote it in the clouds
So I could see it during day
It stayed there for a while
But the wind blew it away

I wrote it in the stars
So I could see it lit bright
I could watch it in the sky
But only during night

I wrote it in the trees
To see it all year round
But I forgot that during fall
All the leaves come down

So I thought of one more place
Where I could see it everyday
I wrote it in my heart
And forever it will stay
