But when you said you would be there you were never there
I had no idea where you were, but i trusted you, i gave you my heart and you
took that away from me in a single heart-beat
But when we were together i knew you loved me dearly
And you cared about me, cause you would show it

Then that fateful day came
You weren't picking up your phone
Not answering your cell or Instant Messages
I had no clue what happened, so i was worried
I went over to your apratment to see if you were ok
Untill i walked into your room and notcied you were ok
To ok, your were having a great time with someone else

As soon as you saw my face you tried to get your way out of it but i knew
what happened
You cheated on me
I cried right at the spot thinking why you would do this to me
I knew he lied, about where he was
When he was gone for days he was with the other someone

I ran right into my house cry so bad
Right into my room and grabbed a box that hasnt been touched in years
I grabbed the knife that lay there and started cutting
That was when i knew i was heart-broken
I thought about death and i wondered what he would think if i commited
suicide

Well those days have gone and i'm kinda happy now
But i still think about the one who i thought was special and those promises
he gave me
But i learned it was all a joke
Now i'm with someone new and i hope he doesn't do the same thing
either
