About the reality,
The pain that comes with every relationship
The hope for a better tomorrow
Seems to drive us all
And without it where would we be
The friendships
That makes us who we are
And seems to mold us and form us into better people
The joy of making your best friend happy
With a note or a picture or a “hello”
How just that little note can seem to fix the world
Bring a ray of sunshine to your cloudy day
A smile to a crying face
And warmth to a chilled soul

Without those three little words
What are we?
Without the flame to burn so bright within our hearts
Where would we be?
Without the people to help us learn
Who would we be?
Without our mistakes from which we learn from
When would we learn?
Without the love of another
