Forever has an ending
Futile rage against the day
Face-less death holds a welcome
That a sleepless heart often prays

Shallow are these heroes
Those men without a name
All good things have their ending
As the beginnings fade away

Speak into your darkness
yet you'll never find your way
Hope is like forever
Another victim laid for claim

Love is the illusion
A faith once born of lies
An emotion for the child
Whom each of us desperately hides

Giving death his final dominion
Will bring forever to its end
When lovers are lost in our heroes pretend
The truth in our lies we'll finally understand.
