The screams of the world swallow me
And I run away so I can be free
away from those who pretend to care
Theyll never know why lifes so unfair
As I run to my room and turn out the light
I take a few pills and work through the fright
I grab the razor blade that sits by my bed
And think of the chaos that goes on in my head
When I feel like going crazy I know that its time
One slit on my wrist isnt fine
Multiple cuts go through my skin
Through the layers and layers, this beautiful sin.
The blood rushes down and covers my pain
Its pouring down like crimson red rain.
Its not deep enough to reach a vain
But its strong enough for my pain to be slain
I begin to whimper and cry with all might
My emotions are controlling me tonight.
My body grows numb and the world is silent
Now that I have finished my razor assignment.
I curl up in my bed the blood growing hard
My body. My life. Is permanently scarred.
