This journal tells the story of my life
whats behind the cover you'll never know
the answers are there you just have to look
you only know as much as it'll let show

you'll never know the secrets & lies kept inside
tattered and torn from the inside out
on the outside everythings fine, but its broken inside
its scars will tell you what its all about

memories fade like the ink of a pen
but the scars do not erase away
words crossed off, but they were still said
you can feel their pain at the end of the day

can't you see its been abused, and neglected
just by looking at the cover
inside the ink continues to bleed
this journal tells my story like no other
