You shoved me in the corner,
You left me in the rain,
You cut me off from your whole world,
So you wouldn't see my pain.

You told me to stop crying,
You made me dry my eyes,
You said tomorrow would be better,
But i saw through your lies.

You made me hide my feelings,
You told me i was wrong,
You made me grow so vulnerable,
But eventually, I'll be strong.

And then i'll show the real me,
And we'll see who knows best,
And then i'll cry in front of you,
Just to get it off my chest.

You'll get to see what you've created,
When it is that i've grown strong,
Then you will get to see the true outcome,
Of putting me in the corner for so long....
