THE DARK

A sleepy hollow,
Deep and dark,
For all to follow.
To press against your chest,
Piercing the skin,
Cutting at its best.
Today only to make you cry,
Creep down on your knees,
Pleading WHY??
Looking into a mirror of nothing,
Only wishing to see more,
Thinking...
What made this happen?
Knowing you were once different,
Causing happiness to blacken.
You try to make it flee,
Only you don’t know what to do next,
But watch you bleed.
You start to fade,
The darkness taking over,
No one around to aide.
The dark soon crept,
While you chose to take the extra step,
Walking into death.
