When I look into the mirror
I see someone who's dying
Who spends her days all alone
And whos nights consist of crying

I see someone lost and confused
Who doesn't know which path to take
When she wakes up in the morning
She prays that she wont break

The mirror shows a different face
Someone who's full of despair
I see a person who isn't real
And who pretends she does not care

The mirror always tells the truth
There's no way that it can lie
So when I see this person
I nod and sadly sigh..

Only I can see this image
What others see I wish to be
But who I wish to be
Will never me the real me.

So I will accept this
And stop trying so hard to hide
I'll stop being this fake
And let the mirror be my guide.
