I can’t see the end of this,
It rains too much,
All this time in darkness leaves me burning after daylight’s kiss.

Darkness in the shadow,
A fire in the night,
A slowly closing portal,
To the world of light.

In the water there are faces,
Decaying corpses haunt my dreams,
Trying their hardest to pull me under,
The rotted hand is all I see.

I’m burning out, I’m slowly fading,
Little by little,
I leave them waiting.

I disappear.

Are you proud of what you did to me?
Were your words sincere?

It hurts to breathe,
Inside I’m dying.

You can’t fix what’s already broken,
Dead silence settles all around.
Promises only exists to be broken,
You’re happier without me around.

Last breath before I wake,
Last moments,
Destroyed,
I died for love.

In this last thought,
The forgotten realm,
My life will end tonight.

Blow away, hiding, so happy,
Unknown faces haunting me.
