Her Fault

You turned to face her
You saw the rage in her eyes
You knew you couldn't win
Or take back all of the lies

You were sorry for what you had done
You were sorry for all the pain
But you couldn't take back
The part where you slit your vein

She was never really a mom
She was never really there
So it was just wrong for her
To say that she did care

All she did was yell
All she did was hate
Its all her anger and pain
That led you to this aweful fate

You called me the night it happened
You said you were about to die
So I said just hang on
And its ok to cry

So I rushed to your house
And saw the blood on the floor
I started to cry miserably
You said you wouldn't do it anymore

Your life may not be perfect
Atleast you are still alive
But you can always call me
When you dont think your gonna survive

AUTHORS NOTE: This poem is solemnly dedicated to rhiannon! I know your
hardships with your mom! Just hang on and I am always going to be here for
you!
