Sitting here crying,
Photo album in my hands.
Looking at the pictures-
That were once you.
Flipping through the pages,
You beside me smiling.
I spoke aloud,
Said "do you remember Uncle Frank?
Who made you eat that gross stuff?
I remember you laughing,
With the food in your mouth.
I remember that old swing,
You wanted to save.
That thing was so old,
But you still insisted to save it.
Im sorry I didnt take you to the zoo,
I had forgotten what five was all about.
The laughter that rung in my ears,
Has yielded to stop...
You no longer laugh.
Do you remember the day,
You ran and had me chase you?
The vivid sights and sounds
Were still in my mind.
That truck came out of nowhere,
Hit you with rage.
I saw you disappear...
With a bloody trail.
I cried four days straight after
You died."
The figure beside me moved,
And it walked through a wall.
And when I looked back at the picture-
Of you smiling with me at the park,
All over it was "You're Forgiven"
Written in blood.
All over
