Walking along these dangerous streets of fear
Smoke and smaug filled roads, vision is unclear
Figures are moving, swarming, closing in
What a destroyed world, dripping with sin
Voices are muddled, rising then falling with one tone
When life takes a turn for the worst, the world is disowned
Just here to use everything worth taking
Only living until death's sweet awaking

Vision blocked
Left cold
Alone and broken
Growing old
This truly is not real
When lives are a stake
But panic not
For these lives are fake

Turing away from the blood and the tears
Facing away for so many years
Waiting until dawn illuminates night
To sweep away tears of sorrow and eyes full of fright
The sun isn't rising, no light to see
Darkness is falling, but not silently
Just here to use everything worth taking
Only here until death's sweet awaking

Vision blocked
Left cold
Alone and broken
Growing old
This truly is not real
When lives are a stake
But panic not
For these lives are fake
