Signs of frustration
Shows no communication
Of what I'm trying to say
You put it away
To the back of your mind
Still trying to be kind
With that fake smile there
To my heart it does tear
At the emotions inside
That I wish would subside
To a horizontal line
Reply I'm just fine
Even though I'm not
I'll act like a robot
Tell you what you want to hear
Not what i desperately fear
And you'll walk away
Thinking I'm okay
Never knowing inside...
That I had just lied.
