Leave you behind
I hope you dont mind
I need to move on
Would you care if I'm gone
If only for a day
What would you say
If I never came home
Never wrote this poem
would you cry over me
Or would your heart fill with glee
That I'm not there anymore
You've told me before
That you'd love me til the end
But even that has a bend
So say no lies
Because time sure flys
When you wait by the phone
And you find yourself alone
And you'll think of me
And you'll come to see
Not to play with feelings
And not to mess with dealings
That were dealt to you
By those who's hearts are true.
