You say you know me
You say you care
You say you'll hold me
You say you'll be there

What you don't notice
is what's inside
What matters truly
is what I hide

You think you understand
My pain my joy my fears
But let me give you a hand
I'm just like that around my peers

Because if you really noticed
Who I truly am
Then it wouldn't be so hopeless
You would know how I am

But now sadly I face the fact
That no one has the guts to act
To ask beyond the emotions that lie
To actually see without the eye
