I dialed your number
But it ended before I could start

But right when my emotions were at its peak
You decided not to stay
I opened my door to everything that you are
I wanted to guide you through thick and thin
Now that you’ve knocked down my walls and left me to fade
I’m not quite sure what to say, you left my life with a dizzy spin
The pictures lay untouched on my bedroom floor
But my face is now a stranger to what you see
Some would not want to look back on the stilled memories
But I cherish every moment I was in your arms
