I just watch the rain, as it falls outside my window
I see ever drop pour down the glass
Just as the tears fall down my cheeks
To let out my emotions at last
The pain that I feel it’s like a burden
Pounding on my chest with every breath that I take
I think to myself, did I do something wrong?
As my heart continues to shatter and break
Some things are to be left alone
To mend by themselves and heal to the fullest
And yet it still floats in my mind
The thought of what might have happened
If only I had known
