I watch the waves crash on the beach
I dig my toes into the sand
It feels that you are too far to reach
And for a second I lose track of where I am

I can feel the wind brush across my face
As I close my eyes and let the whole world pass me by
When I open them I’m amazed with beauty and grace
Yet something is missing, and I don’t know why

I search for an answer within the brightest star
It all happened so fast, something I wouldn’t expect
I felt a rush go through me, and there you are
Somewhere out there, an angel whispered, “perfect”
