all the endless nights you and i spent together
we would talk until four am
and we would gasp for breath as we kissed each other
and you'd run your fingers through my hair
telling me you loved me
and you would tell me i was making a mistake because you knew you were going
to hurt me
and you did
but you'd always kiss me after you said that
and i'd fall into you a little more
but that last kiss was different
you said you would come back for me when i was eighteen
And here i am
waiting for you to come get me
but i am foolish
you're not coming back
